As a Faith Community we believe that all persons are children of God and are created in God's image. We affirm the inherent value, worth, and dignity of all races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, and gender identities. We do not hold in regard one's marital status, family structure, faith, educational background, economic and social standing, mental and physical ability, military or civilian status. It is the mission of The Great Awakening to reach the least, the last, and the lost through the love and power of God. We are committed to address human conditions by empowering our members transform their lives through the love of God. It is our charge to facilitate the spiritual growth of all people that we may become one.

OUR BIBLICAL FOUNDATION: LUKE 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

All Are Welcome!
From our inception we have been open worship to all people. We practice radical inclusiveness and intentionally strive to reach the least, the last and the lost. Because of the discrimination experienced by many LGBTQ individuals in churches, we made it a priority of our outreach to be present in the LGBTQ community.
Our church is present in Pride Events and University Sponsored events. We accept Jesus Christ as our risen Savior, and through the Holy Spirit we have become a people of great hospitality reaching society’s marginalized and ostracized, embracing them with the awesome love of God.
